EPCs
With effect from the 21st May 2010 the Government has suspended the legal requirement that Sellers prepare a Home Information Pack (HIP) before their property can be put on the market for sale.
Whilst the full pack is no longer required Sellers must still provide an energy performance certificate (EPC).
The EPC records how energy efficient a property is as a building and provides an A-G rating similar to the labels found on new domestic appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.
The new rules mean that you must have commissioned an EPC before your property can be marketed.
Our local energy assessors are able to speedily supply your EPC whether or not we market your home for sale but with FREE EPC’s as well as NO LEGAL FEES available to our estate agency clients you could save hundreds of pounds so why not talk to one of our agents now?
