As the football season gets into full flow the league tables are beginning to take shape. The same goes for House Price statistics with figures now available for the first 6 months of the year. So if you bought in 2000 and are looking to sell then you are still sitting on a tidy profit. Those who bought at the 2007 peak are likely to be sitting on a loss. With such big discrepancies when it comes to housing equity maybe that explains why sales volumes remain frustratingly low by historical standards.
